Companies will be hesitant to do business and negotiate a lease in public, if they know their terms will be aired here. They then will be negotiating with themselves in the future. These are competitive contracts, and the bonus money is not a matter of public record…and that is done for a reason. Discretion is part of any negotiation. You are not only threatening to take any bid and use it against the company that offers it, but you are threatening to announce terms publicly.
