EOG via Sentry Energy Services has leased a significant amount of acreage in Avoyelles and St. Landry parish going after the Austin Chalk. They have drilled the first well very close to the North Bayou Jack field and they are waiting on the completion rig to frac and then test the well. My family has some acreage in north St. Landry parish that is leased to Sentry/EOG and recently we have been approached by "Great Southern Minerals" to buy our mineral interests. Anybody else hear from these guys?
