I am interested in a Texas oil and gas attorney to help me manage my mineral rights and surface rights. My main concern are responsive in a timely manner and communicate efficiently with me. I really appreciate the help. I would enjoy interviewing a few different ones so we can determine if our personalities match. Thank you again.
You can observe qualified professionals (often with localized expertise) who provide services to mineral owners right here on The Mineral Rights Forum. You will notice them in 3 different places on the site:
-
in display image ads and text links on site
-
in our Mineral Services Directory in the main navigation bar above. These are arranged by professional discipline.
-
look for posts with blue text and a blue badge on their avatar (photo). This distinguishes a Business Member. See their Business Profile for the services they offer.
These practitioners are often able to provide specific (and often localized) services that meet your needs.

I used Pat Murphy as an attorney. He is with Murphy Mahon Keffler Farrier in Fort Worth. He is not a time waster and responds very quickly from my own experience. Good luck.
I can tell you from personal experience as i have been in one of the worst oil and gas title problems ever we have been in a nasty interpleader case for 7 years even though we were judicially awarded fee simple ownership. The operators when they make mistakes have a legion of Attorneys they just keep you tired and cost a lot of money unnecessarily. I recently found and am proud to say the Best lawfirm any land or mineral owners would be blessed to have Gibson PC out of Houston. I call them the Gibson Dream team . They only represents land owners people like you and me. And they don’t mess around. since they came in the case is moving and they are so impressive in to court. I can tell you they have been a God send for our family If Ethan,Jost or Hal Gibson PC of Houston and not listed on the mineral forum they absolutely need to be . Sincerely Mary

Used for surface and pipeline leases and very good
I used Aimee Hess in Streetman, TX, who was unbelievably responsive to all my newby questions. The whole process from hiring to signing the agreed upon lease terms and bonus was about about one month. Her prices are presented ala carte, so you can keep them quite reasonable. Most of the delay was due to the time the landman took to respond to our counters.
Ethan Gibson Gibson PC Houston Tx is not the same as who you are referring . The Law firm you show is not our attorney. so you know I am a Real land and mineral owner and I only would share for others who have or are going thru the same situation . Please do your homework and correct your response to my post thank you
Hi. Not sure if you are responding to my suggestion of Aimee Hess as a good attorney for negotiating leases, but, if so, yes, she represents only lessors, not the O&G companies or their landmen.
I stand corrected.
I highly recommend Eric Camp and Patrick Flueckiger. They are both listed in the Mineralrightsforum directory. They have been providing outstanding work for us.
