A family member has a 7 acre lake & would rather do business with another area. The people that dealt with him last time told him that, despite the significantly higher cost of trucking the water in, the oil company refuses to pay any water holder more than .10 per barrel, because - once they pay more to one - they’ll have to pay more to the others. Does anyone have info on what is considered a fair price (for BOTH parties)?
