How on earth do I find out the names of the many oil and gas wells?
You may get more help if you give the state and counties involved.
I spent a good amount of time researching and running title on that trust back when the Delaware Basin in the Permian was kicking off in Reeves and Pecos County. I’d imagine there are now hundreds of wells associated with it, considering how many properties it covered.
