I have interests in the old Jensen and Ericson gas units in the area and am curious if I am likely to be included on these new horizontal wells as well. Additionally, has anybody has received any correspondence from atlas since they took over BRG assets in the area. I have heard nothing since it happened in March and the wells seem to still be producing similar to how they have been (albeit not a lot)

Bump. I did just see that some production sharing agreements were filed on 7/31 so I’m assuming it’s in the works. BRG operated a bulk of the minerals I. That abstract 163 and then sold to Atlas. Comstock is using the original leases for these new wells so I’m assuming it takes longer than starting with fresh leases.
Mr. Borak, Comstock acquired BRG’s “deep rights” to your lease and many others a few years back. Your lease has been on Comstock’s books for some time and it would take no longer to produce a DO for you than any other lease, including, leases with Comstock as a lessee. So, they’re not picking on you. It just takes a long time to assemble these giant allocation units and get everything to balance and then mail out the massive number of DOs to everyone. I hope this helps. The Klaras unit has a nice allocation under the subject wellbore, but I think we’ve already talked about that. – Regards, Phil

Thanks so much, Phil. Been doing a lot of research so just waiting patiently. I figure these things take a lot of time but always enjoy listening to others comments, ideas, etc. Thanks for the info again and hope all is well!
Mineral owner with a Mitsu lease here in Leon Co…. Our division order which we received last month took over 120 days. The horizontal went over four abstracts and across the county line. very complicated. I’m sure they checked the title carefully. We eventually received the DO and received payment promptly.
