Any Recommendations for Probate Help?

I would appreciate suggestions, I need assistance in probating my deceased fathers, deceased uncles estate.

The uncle had no children,no spouse, etc, died intestate in 1986, he had 6 brothers and sisters, his mineral checks sitting in Oklahoma unclaimed property, and mineral rights have not transferred to anyone in the family.

You have an issue that is common to many mineral owners. You are going to need legal assistance on resolving what may be a complex heirship issue. Contact @Richard_Winblad for advice since his legal practice has a focus with this type of issue. Good luck.

Back in 2013 I had a similar situation, needing to probate my grandmother’s, grandfather’s, and mother’s wills. Tim Dowd ( a poster on this forum) is an attorney and title expert with Elias, Books, Brown and Nelson law firm based in OK City. I live in TX and Mr. Dowd was excellent to work with and the process was smooth/ easy. I did not have to go to OK. We did everything by email and the cost was reasonable/ fair.

I agree that @tim_dowd would also be an excellent choice.

An AOH,Affidavit of Heirship ,may suffice regarding your father’s holdings.

Ask an Attorney about that.

Depends upon the state. OK is a “marketable title state”, so ask that question to the attorney.
