Township 4 North Range 68W - I had no idea there were new permits filed for a three section multi unit wells in sections 1,2 and 3
Which operating company (1876 Resources or Civitas Resources) is in the following Townships?
Township 1 North Range 68W
Township 4 North Range 67W
I received a DO in November 2025 from 1876 for the well Vail 01 as having reached payout in January 2025. I haven’t received a check yet but am wondering what sort of well it is and where it is precisely.
I haven’t had any news from Civitas Resources.
I guess that’s why I jumped on the forum….its the best place to get answers.
Township 4 North Range 68W - I had no idea there were new permits filed for a three section multi unit wells in sections 1,2 and 3 Civitas had the new permit from 2024. The wells were completed in ate 2024. I had a two year filter on the query. Jessern East 3E-20-01, 02 & 03. You should be in pay on them.
4N-68W-12. There are several Vail horizontal wells. Nine of them. The northern set. The southern set have a surface location in 11 and are by Occidental Petroleum. One is called Shake and the rest are called Bake!
1876 Resources is a different operator. They are supposed to send a Division Order to every mineral owner that is due royalties within a certain spacing unit for every well that applies. The spacing unit can contain several wells.
In some states you must sign the Division Order to get paid. Other states, no.
CO does not require that you sign, but you need to send back a W-9 so that proper withholding is accounted for. You need to check the decimal amount on the division order to make sure that it matches your net acres, your royalty and which wells are accounted for. Statue 34-60-118 states that the Division Order cannot change the terms of the lease, so chase down your lease and make sure everything matches.
We recently got an offer from Incline for our minerals on 7N65W section 23. We’ve had wells there for years but they haven’t been producing very much. Any intel on why Incline is suddenly interested.?
Incline sends out lots of bulk mailings where there is nearby leasing or permit activity.
There are several companies with mutiple infill multi-section horizontal well permits nearby. Bayswater, Nickel Operating. Chevon-just to name a few. If you have no real need to sell, then just wait and see what happens. These sets of wells tend to be eight to twelve infill wells lined up like cigars.
