Any interest in a live get together in Houston about OK mineral rights?

OK NARO wants to host coffees or town halls in areas where we have OK mineral owners-even if outside of OK. Any interest in a get together in Houston for mineral owners nearby? Or possibly the DFW area? Might do two. We usually do a report on activity, answer questions and network with your fellow mineral owners. You do not have to be a NARO member to join us.

Or would you rather have a ZOOM meeting for the whole country?

Yes I am interested. However though I have minerals in both OK and TX, I live in CA so a ZOOM meeting would be very nice and helpful.

I would be interested… I live in Cypress (NW Harris Co)

Yes would be interested in one in

Houston. Mike Smith

When are you thinking? I’d love to meet you etc.. in person and my aunt would love a visit from me. She’s in Houston but I can travel from there to be a part of the discussion.

I neglected to mention I am in the Houston area.

I will probably do an official OK NARO Zoom update webinar in March, but thought it would be nice to do something local and let folks meet each other. Probably March sometime. Trying to gauge interest to find a location.

That sounds great meeting people in person!! I’m I guess you would call it “old school” as far as doing business etc.. this site is one of a couple of online sites I subscribe to. Although doing everything online is the way of the world now I’m really not a person who has embraced or will ever embrace that way of making contacts or doing business. I am realizing that being this way doesn’t always work in my favor so I’m excited you are trying to get this together.

I’d be interested in a Zoom. Too far away from Texas. Thanks!

I would be interested as I also own Mineral Rights in Texas.

Any chance you would consider holding the OK meeting in Austin ?

I will be in Houston the week of March 15 and would love to join you!

Otherwise a Zoom meeting would be great.

Thank you so much!

Always interested in learning anything I can. Not a NARO member, have minerals in OK, live in Wisconsin. If Zoom would be available to me I would definitely watch and learn, and ask questions if or where it fit in.

Given the wide geographic interest, I will probably do both. ZOOM for the spread out folks and a local one in Houston for a more personal meet and greet. I am just trying to gauge interest for a mid-late March date. I will post a date, time and place when we get it settled. Trying to see if we can get at least 10 folks, but need to know if there are more than that interested in order to find a larger venue. (Please do not give out particular personal information on the forum for your own online safety-just give me a yes for Houston (for now) and a yes for ZOOM-or both). I do plan to be in Austin for the NARO TX convention in July, so OK folks can find me there to chat on the side. I don’t want to take away from their main schedule and focus on TX. For those in the Dallas Ft Worth area, the National NARO convention is in Dallas in November, so see you then!

I will be at the NARO booth at NAPE in Houston Feb 18-20, so swing by if you are there.

Yes for me on ZOOM :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: Thank you for all you do for mineral and royalty owners.

Martha I think Zoom/Webinar program would be a great idea to implement. Possibly a podcast with guest speakers as another avenue? Complementing this with local meetings may prove to be very helpful.

As I’m in FL, I’m interested in Zoom, however face to face would be great for folks in Texas.

NARO Texas will be holding a town hall meeting in Austin this year. Along with the convention in July at Barton Creek.

I am all for a town hall meeting in Houston, The Woodlands, Dallas, Plano. I know we have a number of OK mineral owners in these areas. And a Zoom meeting would be awesome too. Both, is what I am in favor of. Local groups of mineral owners getting to together once a month for a cup of coffee and discussion has always been on my mind.

I live in California so a zoom would be appreciated

I am in Tennessee. A Zoom meeting would be wonderful for me. Wish I could meet face to face.
