Several years ago my Dad retained half of the minerals under the four hundred acres he sold around Lake Eucha in Northeastern Oklahoma about 5 miles southwest of Jay. Is there any activity at all going on around there? I think they may have had a little coal mining a long time ago. The area is mountainous so I believe drilling would be more difficult but I don't know if there is any finding of oil, gas or coal anywhere around there. Can anyone shed any light on this? Oh, if they have found any Gold in them there hills we'd take that too!! lol
