Hi Janet, Things appear to be picking up but I am not aware of any major activity having to do with the Monterey Shale plays, which is what created most of the buzz and frenzy of leasing activity between 2012 and 2014 in Kings County.

I remember. We're all hoping that the creeping up of oil prices (not gas prices which have gone up due to recent tax increases in California) will continue to the benefit all mineral owners.
