Angelina, tx. no payment on well drilled in 2006

I have a friend who leased to a company and it was drilled and is producing but, they never got division orders is there a penalty for this company for not paying them?

The company operating the well is Palmer pet.I have their telephone number and I think I know enough to get them their division orders but was wondering about any penalty.

This is in the William Plucker survey a- 501 angelina cty.

Under the Texas Natural Resources Code 91.402 - 91.406, you can get interest on the late payments and attorney's fees. You must make written demand on them for payment via certified mail and they have 30 days to respond.

Thanks I will give them the information and they can prceed from there. If , we get fast results i'll let you know.

thanks again

My pleasure.

I'd recommend sending all communication via Registered Mail, return receipt requested. You might also check to see if they are registered with the Railroad Commission. Whether they are or not, report them. An attorney would probably yield the fastest results.

Palmer Petroleum out of Shreveport, Louisiana?

I tried to call you, but no answer or voicemail. I sent you a friend request and would be happy to talk to you.
