Does anyone know what Anadarko/Oxy are doing with wells producing in Ward County TX? Our wells in A-288 Block 34 Section 221 have been reduced to almost no production over the past 3-4 months. Is Anadarko selling lower producing horizontal wells? Are they selling lease rights for lower levels? The section to the east now has permitted wells below Anadarko existing horizontal wells.

You might have been temporarily shut in if wells were fracking nearby. If the sections nearby have different new zones, then you may have similar possibilities if the geologic reservoirs extends that far.
Thanks Martha! That is kind of what we are hoping. Drilling in the leases to the immediate north and to the east. I guess time will tell. It seems one of the main limitations of the lease is that the laterals are very short. The drilling to the east is going south for multiple sections which makes sense.
