Am I entitled to notice in Wyoming re. a pool or unit?

I have leased my mineral rights interest (I do not own the land above) to a major oil company, and meanwhile another company has begun drilling very close nearby. If the second company creates a pool or unit including my rights, am I entitled to notice from them, or does it only go to the company that has leased my rights?

Richard, you are probably not entitled to notice. Your lease probably grants permission to pool your acres. If someone drills close to your acres your lessee should have protested and negotiated participation for your lease or assigned [part/all] your lease for cash and a an override. Failing that your lessee should be planning to drill a well to protect both of you from drainage, after all probably 80%+ of the oil lost would be theirs under the lease.

Of course there could be geological reasons that your acres aren't drained by this well, wink, wink. How would you prove different?
