Mike, the “80 acre oil allowable” has to do with the spacing of the oil wells within a section of land.
“Looks like if you have a full 640 acre section you may have 8 wells on it before they are done with it.”

I just got my first check from Chesapeake for Stanley 18 26 10. It wasn’t what I thought it should be based on the drilling report so I called them. They said that Stanley was capped while a second lateral was put in at 7 26 10 that started producing 2/14. Does this make any sense? Does anyone have info? They said the name of the new well is alisa marie. Thanks for your help
Yes it does. They will shut down production when they frack a well nearby.
