Alfalfa County, OK - OIl & Gas Discussion archives

Thanks. I wasn’t able to pull those numbers up anywhere!

Do you know if they’re getting close to 4-26-11? The last you said was needing gas line. If 5-26-11 is online then it should be close.

This is the No. 1 well on same pad as No. 3 well: 134 barrels, 893,000 gas.

Has there been any completion data for 4-26-11?

David, I found nothing yet.

We have an interest that is being drilled by Chesapeake and it looks like Sandridge is having success with multiple wells being drilled in sections around us. It looks like Chesapeake is only drilling 1 well in the sections they have, any idea why?

Mike S, What Section, Township, and Range are you in? Chesapeake is currently drilling a 2nd and 3rd well in one of my sections. They have started doing multiple wells in different sections over the last six months. Sandridge has committed more rigs and been more aggressive from what I have seen, but it looks like Chesapeake is starting to narrow their focus and drilling more multiple wells as of late.

4-26-11 is in the NE < NW not named Pronghorn. No info on that well yet other than permit and spud.

PATRIA 2711 4-33H

4-26-11 completed oil 364 barrels a day and gas 1,835,000 cu ft.

M Wheeler, 14-26N-11W. First well is producing just don’t have numbers yet. Hopefully more wells to come.

Thank you for all the updates and the help to keep track. We also have another well going to be drilled named Hadwiger sometime soon. The update you gave me is on the Pronghorn correct.

LAST QUESTION. What’s the well name of this well.

4-26-11 364 bbl’s & 1,835,000

Mike S. Good area, looks like those Wilber wells next to you in Section 15 have all been really good. Good luck.

M Wheeler, found out it’s producing 120 bbl and 500 mcf so not the gusher we were hoping for. Was your initial well producing a lot for them to drill multiple wells? I’m hoping this amount isn’t going to scare them off. Are there resources I can use to find out what they intend to do or is it just another waiting game?

Mike S There are not resources that I know of to see what they intend to do, it may be a waiting game. Some sections have had slow starters and have improved over time, some have started off good and died quickly, and then others have just been bad, or been good from the start. It is hard to say, some sections have had great 1st well producers and they have come back with just one well, I have seen other 1st wells be mediocre and they have come back with two additional wells. It’s hard to say without any background in geology not sure how to put it together, or know what they are looking for. I would just keep an eye on the sections around you, as they have started to drill multiple wells from the same pad in several areas. Your well hasn’t been online very long and production can be very sporadic at first.

Thanks for the info M Wheeler…actually received an email from Chesapeake that they plan on another well this July

According to a Pangaea report that I found we are looking at 600 feet of Mississippi, including the chat and shale. One well with 5 laterals won’t begin to produce that much formation. I would assume seismic would be able to narrow where to locate the laterals, but that is a lot of depth to cover.

RH, Sandridge earnings report comes out Friday, and they should have additional info on testing the middle, and lower Mississippi, as well as the Woodford below it in their investor presentation. They are still very early on with developing this play, and hopefully more zones will be productive in our area.
