Alabama Oil & Gas lease rates, percentages and attorneys

My father has land in Escambia County in south Alabama. He and some other land owners

have been approached by an oil company to drill a few miles south of the Little Cedar Creek Oil field. Does anyone know what the lease bonuses and percentages are for Conecuh/Escambia County Alabama? Also, does anyone know of any Oil and Gas Attorneys in Alabama who represent landowners in Oil and Gas lease situations. They don't necessarily have to be from Alabama.I'd appreciate the information.

Last I heard, it was $125-$175 and 3/16 to 1/5.

Thanks for the response. Do you know why there is such a big difference compared to those in

MIssissippi and other areas? I think I saw $300 an acre on one of the MIss. members response.

Also, do you know of any attorneys who have experience in dealing with lessors in Alabama?
