Hi,
I was wondering if someone might be able to point me in the right direction.
I inherited some mineral rights in Limestone County Tx.. in the cotton valley lime formation area. They are pretty much non producing (receiving very little interest) and I am in need of cash.. so I am wondering if these might be worth anything.
I have emailed a couple of companies that claim to buy non producing rights... but have not received any info yet from them.
Thank you in advance for any advice you can give me.

If I remember correctly, Limestone County was once part of the focal point for gas well drilling. Not sure if this activity was concentrated in one area of the County. If you are considering selling your minerals, there are some websites where you can post your mineral property for sale but I believe that charges apply when the property is sold. You can also post under the "New MKT Place" above. In regards to the companies buying non producing rights, beware as some will "low ball" you. Do some additional research on the value of minerals such as reviewing the RRC of Texas website and learn of the nearest producing wells to your mineral property. In conclusion, take your time and don't jump on the first offer.
