I have a question about mineral rights inherited by myself and my siblings. The land description is NE/4 of Section 10, Township 19N, Range 6 East of the Indian Meridian, Payne County Oklahoma. My sister and I visited the land this weekend and found a sign that listed the description above with the name Mickalson Operating Company. There were also 2 big green round barrel looking containers on the land. I'm trying to find out information as to what is going on. We signed a lease about 6 years ago but it has since expired and have heard nothing since then. Any advice or help would be appreciated.
Michalson has a well on the SE/4 of that section that is producing. The well name is JOHNSON 10-1. I don't see any production records from the NE/4 or applications for that section for the last 5 years.
