Has anyone noticed any activity in Stephens County, Ok…section 5 3 South 4 West? Getting multiple offers.

Balco Energy had a pooling order come out a couple years ago for a vertical well they were drilling in the w/2 ne/4 of that section, I haven’t seen what came of that well yet though. Otherwise, that section is on the fringe of Continental Resources play down there, they have been leasing people in that section, so if you are getting offers to buy, it could just be people getting ahead of things and chasing continental around. No current horizontal drilling applications, permits, rigs etc though for that section. Hope that helps!

Continental has a set of Woodford/Miss wells just to the east of you in 3/2/11/10 angled NW-SE. Continental and others are leasing heavily in section 4, 5, 8, 9.
