Leasing, pooling, drilling , nonpayment of royalties ?

Welcome to the forum. There has been leasing in section 22. Three wells were spudded from section 15 going south through both sections. They have not yet been completed. There is an original well Lime Rock Rice 6N 2W 10 1HX drilled in 2018. You would have to contact them for any past royalties.

Thanks for the kind welcome and info . This is mostly Greek to me but I’m learning .

Was a ruling issued on case #202200612 filed 02/14/2022 by Lime Rock ?

Yes, there is an interim order. Case 2022-000612 Order 726181

Watch for permits in 15-6N-2W

Thanks again . I searched using the 002/14/2022 cause cd no but no order came up . We recieved an "offer " to buy legally described 4 acres at 1500.per described acre yet they would take all rest of inherited rights in supplied mineral title that we are to sign and mail back . They would then mail us a check for 6000 . They’re very cordial on the phone but we actually should have the money in hand before sending the paper i think . I’m considering getting a title search to see exactly what belongs to us before dealing in unknowns ? Any thoughts ?

NEVER hand over executed documents without funds in your hands.

Make sure that you use the extra - and 0. See above in the post where I showed how to enter it in the search.
That offer to purchase wants your royalties… Never hand over a lease or a deed without getting paid. No promises to pay…

!. How do mineral owners find out about pooling orders and participation levels in a timely manner ? 2. Are the operators required to send notifications or 3. must the owners be diligent to the hearing dates ?

Mineral owners in OK need to make sure that their names and addresses are correctly filed with the clerk of deeds in every county where they have minerals. The courthouse is the official repository. That is where the landmen will go to look for owners. The leasing title opinion is drawn up from the records at the courthouse.

The operators will use the title opinion to send pooling notices to those owners who have not leased. They will be sent out in a timely manner as required. Yes, the owners need to pay attention to the hearing dates. They may be moved, but one can track that information at the OCC. You only have 20 days after the date of a pooling order in which to answer or you will be given the lowest royalty.

Do I need to go to the county clerk in person, or can I file my address on line?

Carol, Call the county clerk’s office and find out. Each office may have slightly different requirements. Clerk of deeds is usually the person to talk to. You probably can file online in this day and age or mail it in. I mailed most of mine. There was a small fee. Some of them are quite particular as to what size paper, what margins, etc.

MS Barns thanks so much . How can i find production numbers for Lime Rock Rice 6N 2W 10 1HX ?

https://oktap.tax.ok.gov/oktap/web/_/#1 You can find the last few months of production on the Oklahoma Tax Site website. Go to the Public Pun in the Help box. (You do not need a login) Go to the Search by Legal and use ALL for Quarter 1, 10 in section, 06N in Township and 02N in Range.

You will see two wells. Select the Blue PUN number for 10 and it will open up the well. Select the Printable Tab at the top to get all of the information. It gives quite a few months, but not all.

This is great . So we have a 3-4 year old well producing 10,000 B of oil and 35,000 CF of natural gas … Thanks again .
