Am wondering if there has been any activity in slop county as far as leasing is concerned

If you are referring to Slope County, ND., the last I heard that leasing is currently being done by Marathon Oil Company. Don't expect a high bonus or % royalty as some I've heard is as low as $50/acre with a 1/6% royalty; 5 year lease. Hopefully, there will be some surprises in the future as operators test the various areas and zones. If decent wells begin appearing, this will be the force that will drive some decent lease negotiations.
