We have one year left on our lease and have heard nothing about drilling activity in our area how can a person find out if they plan to drill or let the lease go?
If they are going to drill, you will get notices from the Oklahoma Corporation Commission if your name and address are properly filed at the county courthouse. Given where you acreage is, it is unlikely that they will drill in the next year. It is in the deep Woodford gas area and with gas prices where they are, not a great location at the time.
