Activity in Gaines co

We have minerals in W/2 NW/4 Sect 277 Blk G. Wondering if there is any activity going there as we live in north Texas. Thx

I moved your question over to Gaines County for a better chance of getting an answer.

Not anything new I can tell. Within the last 12 months a lease 2 sections to the west. Ring horizontal wells to the south and northeast have not performed well, and you are on the edge of old conventional production, currently operated by El Reno.

Kimm…at this time I see no new activity or new production in the surrounding area of Section 277. In 2018 Ring Energy, Inc. drilled a horizontal well(API 165-38708 Loki 2H) to the SW of your location and had 2 other approved locations. The Loki 2H only produced in Sept., Oct., and Nov. 2018 and has been shut-in since…and the other 2 approved locations were never drilled. The San Andreas formation was the targeted field for production. To the East and Northeast of Section 277 Ring Energy,Inc. had several approved locations in 2018 but only a couple were drilled but are not very good producers. The San Andres field is where production is coming from.

Hey thank you so much. Depressing news but at least I know. Thx again -K

An assignment from Firethorn Petroleum, LLC to Ring Energy recorded 2/15/2022 includes these descriptions in Block G: “ALL TRACTS IN SECTIONS 240 274 AND 208 BLK G WTRR CO SURVEY ASSIGNMENT BILL OF SALE AND CONVEYANCE ALL TRACTS IN SECTIONS 344 346 310 311 414 342 384 BLK G CCSD & RGNG RR CO SURVEY.”

It looks as though Block G, Sections 274, 310, and 311 are less than two miles from your minerals.

Thank you. Wish we would see some activity so someone would lease it again.
