Activity in Anderson County?

I've been getting some notifications from Courthouse Direct regard new leases in Anderson. Are things starting to get better down there. I live in Tennessee. My brother and I inherited some leases there. Thanks!

Probably mostly along the Henderson County line where OBENCO's horizontal Rodessa drilling is crossing over from the north. Not much else in the new drilling / play world as I understand it.

Brogo Minerals has been leasing for Eagle Oil & Gas in northwestern Anderson County (and Freestone and Henderson Counties). This is for their Lower Cotton Valley Sand project.

Do you have some abstract numbers on this?

Brogo has recorded Anderson County leases for Eagle in 93, 103, 109, 546, and 793. Eagle has recorded leases in their own name in 55, 234, 275, and 450.

Here is the info That was provided to me by my uncle. I live in Tennessee and don't know much about all of this. Any help would surely be appreciated. Thank You!

Have you had a chance to look over the abstracts I posted or have any suggestions as to how to find out if there is any activity in any of them? Thanks.

Let me look and get back to you. Assume you haven't tried to see what is happening here using the Tx RRC site

The abstracts that you have listed cover all points of the compass in Anderson County. They are not clustered in any one area.

Attached is PDF from DrillingInfo.com that shows industry permits in Anderson Co over the past 12 months. Note the spread of activity - it ranges from horizontal Rodessa wells in northern part of the county to shallow new vertical wells near Neches to re-entries and various other types of operations.

Thanks for your reply. I'll look into the TX RRC site. As I stated, I don't know much at all about any of this but I'll see what I can come up with. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

What surveys are your leases located in?
