Abstract Numbers Colorado

Hello! I would like to update the “my Land” section of Mineral IQ. I have already added the section, township and range, but looks like I can go back and add abstract numbers which will probably help with additional specificity. I reached out to someone in the Weld office with a screenshot of my deed and asked them the same question. I have posted their response below. Does anyone know how I should go about finding the abstract numbers? THANKS!

The reception number would be the document number that is given at the time the document is recorded. I am not sure if it would be the same as an abstract number. With the reception number you call pull up the document in our online system. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

An Abstract Number in reference to your land description in Colorado is probably an irrelevant field of data as Abstract numbers are a Texas description of land whereas Colorado uses Section Township Range, a/k/a public land survey system, a/k/a Jeffersonian Survey System, with no abstract number. Does this help?

Yes, I guess it is just a field option and I thought that in addition to PLSS I could add it to get more specific. Thanks!

I have a good number of mineral acres in Weld county CO.I received in an estate settlement. I really need someone to guide me. I’m willing to pay a qualified professional to help me work through this. I would like to get a lease on it..
