Got a tax bill for this property that we have never owned! Found owners of the real estate (surface rights) but haven’t been able to contact them. Where can I find the history of ownership of this property?

Could be, but we don’t own the minerals! We DID own some across evergreen road, but sold them.
Hi, thanks for commenting… I found the oil company who has a well in the area of Block 5 Sec 18 and he tells me there has not been ANY production in Sec 18! (There has been in Sec 17 that we owned but we sold it.). I sent these details to the tax office but they have not replied. Got to be a digit out of place somewhere!
