Received letter today advising of an offer to purchase this tract for $1960 per acre @1/5th royalty among others. The last offer 2-3 years back was half of this I believe. I had completely forgot about it. Is this a good offer? Should I try for better? Unsure of amount of acres owned by me a small I never followed it much. The company want to purchase is Boomslang.
That seems a little low to me, if you are wanting to sell I’d recommend getting at least another offer prior to making final decision.
Looks like Macondo Fund IV, Acoma Energy and Palmetto Energy are some of the most active groups buying minerals in that area. Might be worth trying to reach one of those groups to see if they’d be interested.
