4 New Gentry Wells- sec 10,11,3 3s 4w Continental

Anyone know anything ? Spud in in May

Two rigs still onsite. They will probably drill all them first and then come in with a frac crew and do a zipper frac. You can keep an eye on progress on www.fracfocus.org. (Use the Advanced search) When the wells are posted there, completion reports will come out about three months later. I just checked. The original well is there, but none of the new ones are posted yet. Too soon.

Looks like there are eight more wells.

Thanks for information, What do you mean by eight more wells? old wells or to drill ? just to be clear. Again thank you for sharing.

8 total new wells. #2-9 permits in 2025

M Barnes

You find things I can’t, do you see if any more activity ? Continental was drilling 4 laterals , can you tell if anything new please. Have they fracked yet. I will try to get on fracfocus . hopefully these will be good wells. Any info appreciated.

There are eight of the new Gentry wells. Two rigs are still onsite. One is on Gentry 2-2-34XHW-Spud 8/29/25. The other looks like it is on #9. It was spud on 8/19/25.

#3 was spud 4/24/25. #4 was spud on 5/21/25. #5 was spud on 5/19/25. #6 was spud on 4/19/25.#7 was spud 4/22/25. #8 was spud on 5/20/25.

You may be asking a bit early. The wells will probably all be drilled by the two rigs and then they will bring in the frack crew for a zipper frack. I checked FracFocus.org and only the original well is listed as fracked back in 2015. The original well has an EUR of 21BCF, so I would expect that these will be good.

Ms. Barnes, Thank you for all the information! I researched Zipper Frac - very interesting,. Couldn’t get on fracfocus. We are excited and hopeful, we are in sec.10, trying to find out what %, not sure where to get that information, at least something. I read your posts and you have helped me a lot, Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Not all eight wells will go through your section 10. Once the wells are finished and online, the OCC will send the summaries of the wells and what percentages belong to each section. Then you will be able to estimate your decimal for each well. The equation is: net acres/actual spacing acres x royalty x %perforations in your section. Because the wells are on an angle, each decimal will be different. It will take about five months before you get the division order. You do not have to sign one in OK to get paid. Many folks do, but I do not based upon an attorney’s recommendation as it may give away rights. I send a “letter in lieu of division order” and a W-9. You can search that topic and be ready. Good luck!

M Barnes, Again thank you for information, Were only on 4 of these wells that go through sec 10, 4,5,8 and the 9-11. I will keep checking to see when any information come out, As you said, I can see the percentage on each well in sec10, anywhere from 14.2% to 51.5%, I know these are estimates. I appreciate you helping educate me on this, I will keep watching your posts and try to learn a little, Thanks for helping old guys like me.

M Barnes, Thanks for all the replies! If you have time I’d appreciate you checking on The progress on the Gentry wells in Stephens county Ok. Have they done the zipper fracks you spoke of? Any updates ? Thank you for your time on this, you have been very helpful ! R Hart

You can track it yourself on www.fracfocus.org

Go to the search well box and then select the advanced search. Type in Oklahoma and Stephens and Gentry into the correct boxes. I just checked and only the first one is there from 2015.
