I have an offer to lease in Okfuskee County with a bonus of $50 per NMA. Does anybody know the average bonus offer there and also, what may be going on in regards to drilling?
Generally I focus on the royalty instead of the bonus. Unless you own lots of acres bonuses that low don’t warrant much attention in my humble opinion. Focus on lease terms, no deduct clause, depth clause, pugh clause, etc.
