my lease with Annistan just expired that had paid $650/acre for 20 % I can’t locate them online anymore. Are they still in business? A week after the expiration, I received a call from a different leasing company offering $250 per acre at 3/16 for 3 years. Too low for me. Does anyone know if any drilling or other leasing activity going on near mine? Thank you!

Oil prices were probably much higher when you leased last time, so that is why you are seeing a differential now. Also, always ask for what the 1/5th or 1/4 offer is. There is a bit of leasing in the area at 1/5th (20%)
