I spoke with a representative at Seitel and he stated that many companies can come on

your property to "shoot". He knew what company had been on my property before

his and all I had to do was change the amounts of money per acre, initial and return

to Hallettsville. Seitel is offering the same amount as the first company. I can choose

to let the first company know of Seitel's plans or not...it seems they all confer with

each other.

If you look at it another way, this tells you how valuable the information from the shoot of your property is, that seitel will not simply buy the information from the other company.

Thanks to all who gave me advice..I am a beginner at this but want to be "savvy". I have learned a lot from

everyone's input. I will keep you posted..
