We have @ 2000 acres in Richland county all expiring in Q3 2015. The rates varied from $150 to $450 a acres a few years ago and looking for some advise on what may happen or how to plan appropriately. THANKS! ~Liz
Liz, our property has gone without a lease for about two years and so far no takers. I will be interest in following your venture. We only have 160 acres. I have reached out to a couple of "Landmen" including the individual who worked with us several years ago and they are telling me that there was more interest across the border in ND and very little interest in Richland County. However, I have noticed that there appears to be a little more activity in the county.

Last lease was 2+ years ago and we just started thinking we might want to find others in our area to see what was out there. The last 2 leases were 1700 acres @ $150/acre in 2011 and 250 @ $450/acre 2012. I'll keep everyone notified.
