There are various landmen very active in eastern Kentucky. The bonus they are offering per acre is not that much considering the potential of the amount of oil and gas in the ground. They are offering this amount for all formations, or oil and gas plays. Most, if not all, of these leases are for 5 years with a 5-year option.
