I recently sold some minerals.
I need to do a 1031 exchange. So I need to find minerals to purchase in order to be like-for-like exchange, to avoid all the taxes.
Does anyone know any landmen or individuals to contact to do so?

Just an FYI… You do not have to purchase minerals to satisfy the ‘like-kind’ exchange for a 1031. Any real estate will satisfy the 1031 requirements. Hope this helps, it’s always nice to have options.
Like for like sounds like a wash-job… what’s the point?? Best to check with a local land expert or, if you MUST, and 30+ years in the oil & gas business.
