Hello Chris. Your minerals are in a good part of Ward County. Jagged Peak Energy has 2 approved permits for horizontal wells(API 389-37241/37342) in Ward County. The drilling pad for both of these wells is situated in Reeves County but the most of the horizontal leg will be drilled into Ward County. I have heard Jagged Peak Energy has a good reputation dealing with royalty and surface owners. I checked and well 37241 was spud(begin drilling) on October 20, 2018…I find no spud date yet for well 37242. I find a hard time deciphering the exact location of you minerals also…gibberish…yes…
There are 9 abstract numbers covering Section 8:::A-739/918/1402/1113/1114/1149/1150/1475/1497. Which one of these is yours I have no idea.
