Mr. Liles, thank you for responding to my questions the other day. Now, I have two others. Looking at recent RRC maps, there appears to be a permitted well on Section 85, Block F, G&MMB&A Survey, Ward County with #47536256 and a producing gas well on Section 95, same survey being operated by Energy Transfer, #47530993. Is there a way to find out if the last well mentioned is still in production and then who has permitted the well on Section 85? I am having trouble trying to maneuver through the RRC query system. As I mentioned before my siblings and I inherited mineral interest in those sections. We have never been contacted about any gas well on #95, but have recently been contacted by a landman about leasing the others. Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Judy,

The well in Section 95 is owned by Devon and it was producing several months ago. It could be that it was shut-in because of low natural gas prices. This link is to Production data on well 475-30993/Lease #154628:

This well has been producing since May 1995. That has been a very good gas well drilled into the Atoka Formation.

And the approved permit in Section 85 is for a Saltwater Injection Well to be drilled by Mesquite SWD, Inc.:

I didn’t realize how these survey numbers went in an up and down order instead of like the County survey I live in. The man trying to lease our minerals said there is an HBP on 86. I think he is confused with 95 unless there has been something very new and we have never been contacted about it. Do you have knowledge of any very recent activity on 86?

I currently own 20 acres in 4 lots in NW/2 11 Block 33 H&TC being Lots 47, 48, 50 Ward County. Does anyone know how much cost per acre or how much can I lease TX oil & Gas?
