We sold 240 surface only acres in Canadian County, OK. Now we need to transfer the Mineral Rights from the family trust into an LLC.
Are there any recommendations on how this is done in Canadian County?
Any recommendations on Title companies or Attorneys that can/will do this?
Lastly, they are producing rights. When do we notify the producer (assuming after the transfer, but want to make sure) to change the payee (from family trust to LLC)?
