We have mineral rights in Township 157, Range 97, Section 17 and have been receiving royalties for some time (not much). Now all of a sudden someone wants to buy them. Do they know something we don’t? They’ve offered $3,000 per acre. Any help in directing us on who to talk to and/or get some guidance? I read an earlier post that someone was offered $6,750 per acre a little to the south of ours?
No new additional permits on that unit. Who is the offer from?

I don’t think they know any more than anyone else other than looking for one-well units in Williams County. I believe the reason that the individual got $6,750 above is that some of the acreage had permits.
