Kathryn - Good luck.
mary sharon - Cimarex is buying in that block at 3k per acre and 1/4 royalty. I posted the contact for them earlier down this thread.
Kathryn - Patience is usually rewarded.
stephen - iāve had 5 different landmen call us about our acreage in the northern part of h&gn blk 13. average in that area and in eastern reeves has been 1500 but i think this much interest demands close to 2k.
linton - we have clayton williams and another group wanting to lease our 51 T7 sec 42. 1500/acre, 1/4 royalty.
Anyone have any idea about lease rates in Section 40 (west of Pecos)?? The current lease we have on our 400 contiguous acres expires early this summer. The current lessor (who I believe is an independent landman, not actually an oil company) made us a very low-ball offer to extend the lease, but no other inquiries as of yet. Appreciate any information , advice or other help you might give.
Good to hear! I have been wonderingā¦and as I have acreage just to the NW of there, it is relevant. Thanks for sharing.
Does anyone know if there is any activity around sec 17 blockC-1 PSL, I have no idea where in the county it is. I appreciate all the information yāall provide. Thank you
Ralph,
The GIS Map shows that your Sec. 17 Block C-1 PSL Absstract# 4585 to be in the southeastern part of Reeves County. Shows to be 1 oil well on the acreage. API # 389-33001 Drilled in 2011. Completed in 2012. Completion Report included in this link:

Will,
After checking the GIS Map I find there are 2 Sect 38, Blk 1 available. Do you happen to know your Abstract #. Always include your Abstract # if available. Yourās will be either Abstract # 1807 or Abstract # 2370.

Will, Welcome to Mineral Rights Forum.
Clint Liles
Greetings, I am a new forum member looking for information.
I own mineral rights on 160 Acres [H&GN Survey, Section 38, Block 1, W/4]
-
Interested in locating a map showing where the 160 A. are located relative to current drilling.
-
Assuming there are wells in the area, is it possible to find out their production rates and other details on lease terms?
-
What are oil and gas mineral leases going for near this property?
-
I received an āoption to exercise oil, gas & mineral lease,ā but have been advised to hold off signing. Unclear whether it is time to pay an attorney just yet. Your thoughts?
BHP is still in the game. Just paid option to extend for 2 more years in Sec. 82, Blk 4, H&GN Survey (also called J. Lilley A-5662) thatās at north side of I-20 a couple of miles west of Pecos.
If your lease has a while to run with them donāt assume it isnāt going to happen because they waited until 10 days before end of primary term to send the option check.
LintonāNice offer on the pics. Iād appreciate your posting those for me. Do you need more/different info than what I posted below earlier this morning? I actually have a photo copy of Alfalfa Coās Subdivision with my tracts circled but that doesnāt help me locate them in the RR Commission database so I can follow Rosettaās progress.
I would like to know if anyone has any information on leasing activity, rates, etc. for the following area approximately 25 miles due west of Pecos: Section 40, Block 59. There is a number A-1562 on the Texas Land Office map for this acreage if that helps any. We have 100% interest in 400 contiguous acres there. Our current lease expires this coming summer.
Just FYI, Iāve had two people from Clayton Williams contact me. The first one, a female, called and said she would get back to me in a couple days. That was many days ago. The second, a male, just showed up at my house, I wasnāt home, so he left his card. I called him and he said heād get back to me that afternoon. Havenāt heard a word. Strange way to conduct business in my opinion. Guess Iām just from the old school!
Dusty thanks so much for sharing we are in sec 82 as well. Renewal is first of august. K
Thank you very much Clint I appreciate all you do for all of us on this site.
Stephen & Craig thank youāRosetta had no hesitation with 2000/nma to extend the lease two years. It went so smoothly I either left on the table or Rosetta is a wholly straight-up player.
Clintāany possibility you can provide me the same data you have below for Will & Ralph? I have tried to figure these things out on the RR commission site but been unsuccessful. The legal is:
Tract 1: Block 1 of the Toyah Valley Grape and Alfalfa Co. Subdivision, Section 266, Block 13, H&GN Survey, Reeves County, Texas.
Tract 2: Block 6 of the Toyah Valley Grape and Alfalfa Co. Subdivision, Section 266, Block 13, H&GN Survey, Reeves County, Texas.
Tract 3: Lots 1-4, Block 14 of the Toyah Valley Grape and Alfalfa Co. Subdivision, Section 265, Block 13, H&GN Survey, Reeves County, Texas. Sorry, but I donāt have abstract #s. I would like to be able to follow Rosettaās progress.
Will and Kathryn, you can buy a reasonably priced map of the county with the blocks and sections from the Texas General Land Office website. You can also buy maps from Midland Map Company with up-to-date activity in the area if you can afford that. I got the cheaper maps and put them on my wall (takes a lot of room) and if someone just wants to see where in the county their property is, if you send me your block, section, and survey, Iāll take a few pictures and post them here for you.
Kathryn, I posted the pictures in the discussion, area. If you friend me I will send copies to you directly, I couldnāt figure out how to post them on the comment wall!
