Pipeline ROW Compensation Central Texas

Anyone have experience with recent pipeline right of way (ROW) compensation in Texas? Magellan Pipeline is constructing a new products pipeline from Erath County to Robertson County, Texas, to transport diesel and gasoline. They have been offering about $250/rod initially for a 50’ permanent ROW plus a 45’ temporary workspace. Interested in knowing what final compensation has been paid either through negotiation or condemnation.

Magellan is coming from Hearn through my ranch in Erath County. They are the most aggressive and abusive pipeline company that has come through. Do not trust anything they tell you. Most original low ball offers are in the neighborhood of what you’re talking about. Research Texas Farm Bureau and TSCRA and you can get involved with the new effort in this session of the Texas Legislature to stop these land pirates who make billions on the back of private Texas landowners. If we all don’t fight for our properties, nothing will change. Take the fight to your local commissioner hearings and get a fair price. Fairness, accountability, and transparency is all that any of us want but are also things that Magellan does not practice. No one is against oil/gas or infrastructure but these private, for-profit companies are abusing Texas private landowners. Fight, fight, and fight some more!
