Has anyone heard of a company called Paleo Oil Company? I understand they were leasing around the Shiner and Yoakum Area? Anyone leased to them? If so what are the leases going such as signing bonus, Lease times and or extensions and royalties.

As a lawyer, I have represented two mineral owners in successful lease negotiations. One a few months ago, the other a few years ago. They are a small shop, smart and experienced out of Corpus Christi. My experience in both cases is that they will listen to the lessor’s concerns and accomodate the lessor if it makes sense. My experience with them is outside of Texas.
