In my experience, they are pretty protective of the actual numbers involved. I had the best luck going to the office in person with documents in hand showing I had the authority to receive or manage the funds. Even then, they did not tell me the exact amount. But I ended up with enough info to determine what I wanted to pursue at that time. That is based on 3-4 trips there and feedback from a few others I guided in the process.
