Welcome to the forum. The bonus amounts this year are based upon current competitive rates. 2016 competition was different and bonus amounts were higher back then.
Of course the offer is going to be lower if they didnât drill your OGL from 10 years ago. People have to manage their expectations on the acreage they own, itâs hard I know.
Many deals are cost plus 30%, so as operator you frac. So if itâs 1m frac, operator gets 300k. Call it consulting fees.
