I am new to this site so I hope I’m posting in the right place. Over the past 4 days our family have received offers to purchase our net royalty acres which one company calculated at 25 acres. They offered $45,000 to purchase and we have no idea what to do. My grandparents purchased then passed on to my mom then to us when she passed. Me and my siblings just feel we should sit on them because we don’t know how all of this works. The location is in Brazos County. The deed said grandparents purchased 198 acres and then sold but kept 1/32 for minerals. Can anyone please advise us on where we go to research this to see if they are drilling?
