Pstarkey: if you opened the link that Alan provided in his last post, you should have a better understanding of properties involved in 347 well.
Not sure who you are replying to or commenting on, M_Barnes. The well in discussion is Comstockās. There was an earlier mention of a permitted Marathon site in Underwood, but it was never drilled. This is not that location.
Bembo: If you use CR 347, would you mind posting anything new like setting up for the rig? It may not be a long wait because Comstock doesnāt have many permitted but undrilled sites left in this part of Leon County. Fracking appears to be backed up because they are having new, higher horsepower fracking equipment designed and manufactured, equipment that wasnāt available off the shelf.
Setting up has commenced.
Iām checking back one more time before this topic closes. Is anything new happening at the future drilling site?
Lots of activity on the well site. Plans for a Pinnacle pipeline from there north already in motion.
By all means, start another thread about this well site and Iāll try and provide updates.
The rig for the well on CR 347 (see previous posts for location) will be going up Tuesday. Lots of activity on the road, even on Easter Sunday.
Does anyone have any info on Expands Yancey well?
Thanks for the update and suggestion. Earlier today I started a related but broader topic on drilling activity in Leon County.
Has the rig been brought over yet?
You can go here and open this map and pan around using landmarks and roads until you find your pad location then you can bookmark it for future visits to check progress. You can sign in Anonymously.
Rig is on site for the Comstock Leon County Allocation 38H well. Pad is east of 347 and south of the railroad tracks.
Thanks, Alan. Do you think this rig was moved from Seaberg? As the crow flies, that site is close to Leon Co Allocation.
Thanks for the tip.
Seaberg is still drilling. Saw it this morning.
Probably the rig that had been drilling the CR Winn 1H west of Marquez.
