Mitsui Whitaker Well abstract 478 Leon Co. Texas

I was told this afternoon that drilling has been completed on this well and the rig has been moved offsite now. Can anybody confirm this? If so, if all is good I assume the well will be producing soon.

My understanding is the well has not been fractured and that they want pipeline connection to be available before production testing.

Makes sense. I appreciate your reply. This forum has proven valuable to us as we are in need of any future royalty payment and information regarding such on our end can be hard to come by.

This morning, the rig started making a really loud noise. Any idea what that means?

Hello. Are you nearby this unit? I understood the rig was removed a few weeks back as the vertical drilling was completed.

I am. We can see it from our front gate on CR 331 West.

It’s likely this is the beginning of fracking. They plan on going for about 1.6 miles toward the Northwest.

Enverus is showing that the rig is still on site and drilling. Precision Drilling Rig 584.

Hey user122: I’m surprised you can see it from 331 because I think it’s almost 2000 feet due west of the intersection of 355 and 356 (latitude and longitude 31.4631257, -96.110401 ). I’m going to be in the area in November and was thinking of making a side trip to see it and another well of mine that is about 1.5 miles to the northwest. Do you know if the access road leading to Whitaker 1H has a locked gate? I would hate to arrive and not be able to get to the pad.

I would stay away from the operations, first the pad site is a hard hat, steel toe area. Secondly- you are entering someone’s property.
