I also own 4 + acres of mineral rights inherited from my parents who said Neverr sell. I have leased to Bearcat several times over the years.. it is 5-3s- 4w in stephens county, ok. I have had Landhill send me an offer to purchase, however it is pretty much the same price I have it leased . $5000.00 per acre.. i have had offers to sell from other companies, Mayhawk, Family Tree, and others. However the guy from LandHill has been Very persistent, he has talked on the phone with me and my brother.. I am in my late 60s and my brother in his late seventies.. we both have heirs that would inherit the mineral rights.. I just think my parents will spank me as soon as I get to heaven since they said Never sell..my dad was a landman and and so was my grandfather.. I suppose I should start learning more about the process.. or at least find aa local oil n gas atty. It is leased currently with Bearcats on a 3 year lease.
If it is Bearcat right there, it is probably for Continental Resources.
