$50.00 an acre is not much money to have your land tied up for 5 years. I would hope by now landowners would hold out on these cheap offers because sooner or later if they cannot lease oil, they will have to raise these offers. There is oil, gas, etc. in Lawrence County and the only ones making money are the oil companies, investors, and land men. If you can hold out and if we all do, the prices will go up. To make my point, just a couple years ago I leased for almost $200.00 an acre for 2 years.
