DRILLING PERMIT SUBMITTED PENDING APPROVAL
Hi all,
I am new to this forum. I have mineral rights in Henderson county and recently fund out that a new permit to drill has been put in effect. I've been trying to find out if its been producing but no luck on the RRC website. I also got a letter recently from someone wanting to buy my share.

Do you know the API # of the well or the well name? Also do you know the Abstract # of your Henderson County minerals acreage?

There is a well that is permitted on the land but I can't find out if its producing or not.

This link is to 15 submitted permits(2 pages) for Henderson County from January 01, 2014 through October 20, 2014 and I see no submitted permit for Abstract #220 in any or these submitted permits.
I did find on the GIS Map of Henderson County on the east side of your A-220 a blue circle that indicates a 'permitted location' but I find no API # yet.

I did find directly to the south of your minerals in A-780/API 213-31050/Doheny Well # 1 permitted in the last few months. Link to API 213-31050:

So I guess they haven't started to drill just yet but there is a well?

I tried posting the results of the 'Identify Well thingy' from the GIS Mapping system but it won't work. But the results show that the round blue circle is a permitted location.

It is my understanding from old timers that a sour gas well was drilled and P&A'd back in the early 50's in the JM Bertran A-60 survey near Eustace, Henderson County, Texas. Can you help me find RRC info on this well and its exact location?

After checking the GIS Map all I find are 3 dry holes that have been drilled in the past. I'm not sure this RR Commission GIS Mapping System would go back to the 1950's. The 3 blue circles with 4 sticks represent dry holes. I also noticed directly to the south of your A-60 in A-190 a permitted location(round blue circle).
Can't tell if that is a new or old permitted location.
Possibly Rock Man(landman) has resources that I don't have and can probe back further into the past history of Henderson County A-60.
